PDA handwriting

I can't use "Transcriber", the handwriting recognition application that run's on most PDAs, to enter data in my LV vis. I suppose I'm missing something : I can't believe that this is something that has been "forgotten" in LV PDA !..

Hello,

If you create a Pocket PC application with LV PDA that has a string control (or numeric control,) you can not input text to that control using the Transcriber feature on a PPC 2003 device.

Handwritting recognition will be supported in the next version of LabVIEW.

I hope I answer your question,

Thanks for the reply. Of course my problem is not solved. I thought that there would be a dll call or something equivalent to avoid being stuck 😞 Clearly the LV PDA graphic user interface is far from achieved...).

CC

you are so kind in your formulations ....

The first version(s?) don't even support the touchscreen! (since it was a requested feature at the moment we ordered it, we found a solution with our local NI)

I haven't installed the 8.0 upgrade but it's really bsad that the 'normal' text input of my PDA is still not supportedSmiley Sad
