PICDEM FS interface to VISA driver

Hi,

I am trying to interface PICDEM FS demo board to labview using VISA RAW driver. Does anyone tried this. I was not been able to find any example or code any help will be great.

Hi Waruna,

Unfortunately, I am not familiar with your hardware, but here are some documents that you may find useful in developing the NI-VISA driver.

The second link provides a short screenshot of a LabVIEW program to communicate with a USB device.  I hope this helps!

I'm trying to do the same thing but the Visa driver development wizard isn't working for me.  Windows keeps telling me "Code 10: USB device can't start."  If you figure anything out let me know, I'll do the same.

Hi,
I was able to detect the board from measurement and automation. But still not been able to read from the pic. I think now i need to program pic in the way that it will be able to communicate in RAW. I am not understood the settings needed yet.

Just follow above links, but make sure that after you created the driver for the board uninstall the default drivers comming with picdem board and install the drivers created from VISA.
