hi , i am a mechanical engineer new to labview and need help in creating a vi that can do the folowing flip flop function as shown in the attached dig .

please upload a vi if possible ..

Your context is not clear at all.

iFor example, f it is a user input like a mouse click then your problem is easily solved by changing the mechanical action of boolean button. This link gives more information on that. https://www.ni.com/docs/en-US/bundle/labview/page/changing-the-mechanical-action-of-a-boolean-object...

Is it an external pulse signal plotted on a waveform? if so then it is an array format and you can use array functions to compare and activate a boolean indicator

 

please explain more about your problem.

any way i got the answer to my flip flop question my self ... and need help with a counter .. does lab view have any predefied counter vi's that can count the number of pulses between 2 events ?
