PN sequence generator

I am currently trying to design a PN sequence generator and would like to find out if there is any sample  LV program that I can refer to.

For the benefit of all the people that cannot keep up with every acronym, could you explain what the heck PN stands for? There is quite a bit of room for text in the message body of a question and you are not penalized for using what is available.
