I want to use the internal trigering of the PXIe 1078 chassis. I have been reading online about the internal trigers in PXI and in my case I have PXI_Trig0 to PXI_Trig7. my setup is as follow I am using a PXI 6535 DIO card in slot 2 and 6115 Analog card in slot 4. I would like to generate an internal trigger using the back plane of the PXIe1078 chasis when I want PXI 6115 card to start acquiring data. Currently I am using the Triger from outside. The whole idea is to have an internal trigger within the back plane on chassis to remove the need of an external trigger.
A little bit about the process flow I send Digital data from 6535 card to a sensor and as soon as i send this data I would like to send the trig to the 6115 card through the back plane to start acquiring. I am still not able to figure out the programming part of how to use the back plane trigger using labview.
