PXI5122 error

Greetings forum,

I'm trying to use PXI 5122 ni scope card installed in chassis NI PXI-1033.

When I run labview I get the following error: "ni scope initialize with options.vi insufficient location info labview.."

The chassis is connected via NI Express Card 8360 to a macbook pro with windows installed on it. The problem that I have is both "active" and "access" lights are turned off.

I checked ni-max but it doesnt seem to be communicating.

Is it normal that both lights are off when the chassis light is on? If so how to make it communicate?

I tried another express card and it is still not showing NI PXI 5122

I attached the screenshot and parts.

Hi,

According to the user manual, the LEDs may not light up until configured in NI Max or may be due to hardware or connection issues. The troubleshooting steps are available starting from the bottom of page 12.

BTW, not sure if the Link LED on the chassis is alternating between green and red or stay at red in the picture. If its red, then according to the user manual (Pg. 28), the link between chassis and computer might be corrupted.

You might also want to make sure that the NI SCOPE version is compatible with LabVIEW, windows and hardware.

Thanks for your help,

After changing the slot in the Chassis, the NI-PXI5122 is showing active but when I ran my labview or when I try to test the digitizer from NI max, it completely freezes the computer and I have to shut down computer manually, any idea how to fix it ?
