Palm Tungsten T3 and PDA software

Has anyone used the Palm Tungsten T3 with the PDA software? Can you use the full expanded screen?

Hello,

Yes, you can use the Tungsten Palms with the PDA Module. You can configure your screen size to be any size from LabVIEW, so you should be able to make use of the expanded screen.

Please see these links for more information about the LabVIEW PDA Module:

I hope this helps!

I couldn't use the link you gave.

I'd really like to be able to you use full screen of T3 (by opening it and maybe making desappear the keyboard part of the screen.

But my main problem is when i change size of my T3 (mechanically) some access to the reference of a Graph object make reboot my T3 ?

Do you have any idea about it ?

Hi,

Me again, just to explain that my problem is not comming from graph using !

But from Show/Hide vi in a very particular context !

Way to produce the bug with a T3:

-> Reduce the size of your T3
-> Launch an application with a button calling a Subvi with front panel shown
-> in the sub vi make a button that permit to show or hide two or more others button
of the subvi. The show/hide action must be done by calling twice "Show/Hide vi" on
the two references of the buttons without delay between the calls
-> Try once your "Show/Hide Button" => OK
-> Increase the size of your T3
-> Try again your "Show/Hide Button" => Crash of the application !

So, the workarounds can be:
-> make a delay of at least 100 ms betwenn calls of Show/Hide Vi
-> Use Show/Hide vi with array reference when you need many identical "Show/hide"

(A simple example joined)

Hi there,

This behavior has already been reported to NI's R&D team and they are currently working on getting this fixed for the next version.

The workaround is (as you mention) to use an array as the input to "Tab Order of Control" of the "Show or Hide Control" VI.
