Parameter does not pass to TestStand

Hi,

I'm using LabVew 8.2 + TS3.5

I have a vi that works fine on 2 PCs.  The Vi has an output string as a terminal.  In TS we assign a variable (StationGlobal or locals) to this terminal.

On one specific PC, this vi does not work. If we enter the code we see the string holding some content. However, after proceeding, it passes nothing to TestStand.  I further wrote something into the TS variable (in the pre-expression of the step) and found out that the step clears it out.

Again, this same step works fine on 2 other PC's.  I wonder if you have any suggestions as to what may have cause this behavior?  Any idea what else to check or try?

Thanks
Rafi

Hi Rafi,

Have you tried deleting and recreating the step?  Also, have you tried copying the VI from one of the working PCs and replacing the VI that is causing this issue?

What is the type of variable are you assigning the string output to?
