Perforce Slow 8.2 but not 8.5

I'm using Perforce version 4 with LabVIEW and it runs well with LabVIEW 8.5 but when attempting to program in 8.2 (with the same connection settings) the files seem to lag horribly. Perhaps checking their checked out status before each new VI is opened. If I turn off SCC in the Options screen LabVIEW returns to normal operation and no longer lags.

Anyone else have this problem? Anyone know how to fix it?

Thank You,
Craig

Hi Craig,

Is it merely a slowdown pertaining to LabView or do you also get errors or warnings?

Hi Craige,

This has been a reported issue with LabView 8.2. Although it has been hard to reproduce there is a Corrective Action Request entry on it--CAR # 52221. You may want to stay in LabView 8.5 and use Perforce, it has been fixed there. Hope this helps.
