Please Help!!! VIPM won't connect to labview and I need to figure out why

I am trying to download the Arduino package from the VIPM and they won't seem to connect. I have included a picture of the error and two more of my settings. I am using the student evaluation of the Labview software, but I'm not sure that it is what's causing the problems. Any help would be appreciated, as I would like to set up a nice GUI using labview and an arduino as my DAQ device. I need this for a project for my professors so I am rather desperate to get it up and running.

Try it like this but with your actual IP address instead of mine (11.6.111.239).  Make sure to include 127.0.0.1 as that is the Wiondows (I'm assuming here you're using Windos but you didn't say) default for local machine.

Clear your Exported VIs list of everything except the asterisk (*).  Your Machine Access list should contain ONLY 127.0.0.1, localhost, and your machine IP address; delete all other entries.  Clear all entries from the User Access list.  After you do that restart LabVIEW.  Then try running VIPM.

Do you have administrative rights on your machine?  That can affect this.

I'm sure you can use VIPM with the student edition.  Looking around I came up with this link and this thread.  Make sure you have TCP/IP enabled and the port in LabVIEW is the same as the port in VIPM.

Still no go, I am going to try and reinstall everything tonight and see if that fixes the problem. All the settings are correct so I'm hoping it was just a corrupted download.

What are your settings for VIPM?  Go to Tools->Options and then hit the LabVIEW tab on the top.  There should be a list of LabVIEW versions currently available.  The big one to look at here is the Port.  Make sure that matches your setting in LabVIEW.  You can also verify the connection from that tab.

@crossrulz There's also a very useful Verify button on that page, which normally resolves connection issues for me.
