Plotting a room

Hi

I want to plot a room in three dimensional graph. I have the dimensions of the room and the dimensions and the locations of the stuff lying inside the room. Can some one help me out about how to get started.

Basically I want to make a layout of a room in LabVIEW.

Hi Ankit,

Check out the 3D Picture Control Evaluation Toolkit.  It's not supported by NI, but it gives you a good starting point for drawing 3D images in a picture control.

Thanks for the raply. This toolkit works with LabVIEW 7.1 or higher. Is there any way I can do this in LabVIEW 6.1 as I have 6.1.

Unfortunately, the 3D Picture Control Evaluation Toolkit only works with LabVIEW 7.1 and later.  Hey, sounds like you've got a good reason to upgrade!  🙂

Not sure why you would want to do this in LabVIEW. Perhaps you might want to take a look at some of the options listed in this article.
