Plural of VI

What is the correct way to make VI plural? Do you use an apostrophy
even though it is not possesive?

Example: Move the (VIs or VI's) to the root directory.

Neat question. Strictly speaking, I think it should read "VIs"
(because, as you pointed out, it's not possessive). But then again, I
like to use apostrophies with acronyms to avoid confusion.

The National Instruments internal documentation convention is "VIs" in
this case (check the LabVIEW manuals or any NI Web content), and we tend
to avoid the apostrophe for other technical acronyms as well (e.g.
"DLLs").
