Pocket PC application fails to run: missing libraries?

Jeremy_B,

thanks for your reply. I'll try to get the info on this DLL.

As a side question: do you think this missing dll is the cause of the problem? In other words, can you think of any other things that can be causing the issue?

Thanks again

Sasha

Hi Sasha,

I'm fairly certain the DLL is the cause of the problem, I haven't seen any other issues that point to something else.

This is a dll that is part of the Windows Mobile operating system.  It may be found by searching google for it, but you can also find it on your actual WM device.

Jeremy

I seem to be in a similar situationI downloaded the latest Labview Mobile Module to see if I can use it with a Logic Products Ezkit lite embedded development system (iMX 31 processor running Win CE 6.0).  As a first test, I used the Mobile Wizard to generate a very simple VI that runs a for loop and displays the index in an indicatorThe VI seems to build and download OK but when I try to run it nothing happensI put your Pget utility on my embedded device put get a 'Pget is not a valid Windows CE application'.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciate since LV Mobile will be a huge help if I can get it to work.

Thanks - Gene Massion

Hi,

Apparently many peoples have this issue.

Is anyone for NI kind enough to put all this required DLLs in a .zip on this forum?

I have tried to search them, I have found only aygshell.dll , the rest of them are hiding somewhere.

Till this is done LV and WinCe do not work.... I am so tired of searching for green horses on walls.

Please help.

Andrei

Hi rfdfdgf,

The dlls are version dependent, so unless we had the exact same software versions installed, the dlls would not be correct.  It also wouldn't do any good to any other customers on the forums unless they had the same software as well.  As Jeremy_B posted here previously: "Those DLLs are from the Windows CE SDK, you should be able to download and install it from Microsoft, and it should include the necessary DLLs."
