So hanging may happens if command to device wrong, or device need time to response.
Event structure lock FP while processing last event.
And Raven say truth: LabVIEW is mach popular in industrial automation and much better and functionally than SCADA.

We focus heavily on the top three HMI/SCADA packages that are used across industries.
I'm glad you haven't told anyone from National Instruments that. Otherwise they be shocked that managed to build such a big business around something that you don't consider marketable.
I didn't mean it negatively. I've been doing controls for almost 15 years and 95% of industrial applications are focused around Wonderware, Rockwell, and IFIX. Certainly nothing wrong with Labview, but it's something we rarely come across in our field.

Thanks, I'll have to keep an eye on it. Everything on the VI works flawlessly so I know none of the commands are wrong. I suppose it could be in the driver itself. I know that NI only released a driver for Ethernet/IP a couple years ago. I'll try slowing the poll rate down and see if Labview likes that. 😉
Thanks again for your help, sir.
