Problem: Building an Installer for NI-IMAQ USB cameras.

Hi everybody,

 

I start this new thread although another member started it last January.  http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&message.id=293125

 

I have built an Installer for NI-IMAQ USB cameras because I would like to work without installing LabVIEW. My problem is that the application only runs in the computer where was created. I have LabView 8.6 professional version (NI-IMAQ 4.1 and LabVIEW Run-time Engine 8.6) in two different computers but I only have NI-IMAQ USB where the project was created.

In my second computer the executable was installed correctly but when I try to open the application, it appears the warning Missing IMAQ USB (Loading: ImaqDirectShowDll.dll and searching: Myapplication\instr.lib) so that the program does not work. Therefore, I think that this application would not work without LabVIEW either.

 

The project, application and setup are attached.

 

Could anybody tell me what my problem is?

 

Could I really build an installer for NI-IMAQ for USB camera?

I go on slowly with this program because I have had a new problem (Error1074396024 occurred at IMAQ USB Grab Setup.vi)

 

I generated different applications doing changes in the project (additional installer I-IMAQdx 3.2) but I could not run the application yet.
