Solved!
Go to solution

I am trying to install LabVIEW 2017 SP1 F3 for a project I am working on. I have the SP1 Patch installed, but it is giving me an error when I try to install the SP1 F3 patch.

2017 and 2017sp1 should not be side by side.  Did you restart after upgrading to sp1?

(My magic 8-Ball said, "It appears unlikely.")

That's not it, Jeff.

My License manager shows LV20xx  and LV20xx SP1 on all the versions that had SP's.  (2016 did not, and 2018 isn't out yet.)  The original unlicensed and the SP1 licensed.  SP1 always successfully replaced the original, yet the license manager still shows that the original existed.

Thanks for keeping me honest RF.  With th laptop updating NI stuff I can't really mess with it.  That new License Manager interface hasn't become second nature yet.

A reboot may still be needed to install fixes though.  Just to get all the regedits registered.

I was actually downloading the incorrect bit version (64 versus 32) and that was giving me problems. Thank you all for the help.

That would cause a problem:D

I'll mark your solution for the next developer that does the same thing.

Thanks are given with Kudos
