Problem with custom dropdown menu

Hi,

While trying to Install the "LabVIEW821RuntimeEngine.exe" on my Windows 10, 64bit laptop, I get an Error pop-up.

I do not understand what is the problem.

Please see attached screen shot of the pop-up.

I don't believe LabVIEW 8.2 is compatible with Windows 10.  According to this article, LabVIEW 2015 SP1 is the first LabVIEW Version compatible with Windows 10, and LabVIEW 2009 SP1 is the first compatible with Windows 7 (though I have been able to install LabVIEW 7.0 and do development, if I did the installation "by hand").

The Error Message probably reflects this incompatibility.

Thank for the quick response.

Well, I managed to Instal the 8.2.1 runtime engine on a Windows 7, 64 bit computer.

I am still waiting for an answer from the company that created this application.

Trying to overcome this problem before they get back to me on May 7th.
