Problems using command.com /C in system exec

I am attempting to run Hysplit trajectory program from Labview and I am trying to call a executable but I am not having any luck. I have tried the customary command.com /C filename.exe and command.com filenam.exe and have had no luck. Just wondering why this would not be working?

Are actually typing "command.com /C filename.exe" and "command.com filenam.exe" as the executable filename??
Have you tried to simply use the "filename.exe" ?

If so, can you post that portion of your vi or a jpg image?

We ran into this yesterday as well. A VI that works on XP pro using "cmd /c ..." doesn't work on XP home.

Hi tst,

So we now add you to the list of Msuff casulties.. ?? 😉

I was never impressed by XPee..  and never will..

I wish that Msuff would release something professional for the professionals and a "barbie" version for the kids... and not a mix of the two..

The OS should become more reliable and more robust before adding features.... especially security features that don't work and are more of a nuisance...  not that I dislike XPee or anything of that sort...  😉

😄 😄 😄 😄 😄 😄

Long Live Linux!!!
