Problems with Labview & GPS/IRIG-B.

I am using a PXI 6608 and a bc637cpci card and GPS antenna from datum. Both cards are in a PXI chassis. The GPS displayed time from the datum application is always ahead of the irig-b time displayed in my labview app by 1-2 seconds. I have this problem in my app as well as any example GPS apps from NI. Additionally, I have the same problem using an old Time-Code Generator in place of the antenna and bc637 card from datum. Any insight?

I was going to see if I could get some more information on your application. I am not familar with the bc637 or the GPS from datum, but I can try to help you if you are having trouble with the PXI chassis or the 6608. In your set up are you having any trouble with the 6608 or the pxi back plane.

I am not aware of any backplane or 6608 problems, although this is not to say that my problem isn't related to either of those. I have tried a loaner 6608 from NI and another chassis, and still had the same problem.

We have a BC637CPI in order to provide "IRIG-B DC Level"  to NI-6608. We want to GPS-timetag events with NI-6608. I want to execute the NI demos:  Meas GPS Timesatmp-Buffered-Finite.vi and Measure GPS Timestamp. I do not understand which wire connections I have to do, where I have to connect IRIG-B PFI7 or PFI6? Where I have to connecte my event signal? and if I use PPS mode instead IRIG-B mode, where I have to connect PPS?

thank you in advance for your help
