I am creating a DAQ system for a vehicle using a cRIO-9012 and 4-slot FPGA chassis. Is there a way to progmatically read the supply voltage of the embedded controller?
There is no direct way to read the voltage supplied to the embedded controller. (The controller does not include a ADC inside the power supply.) The simplest alternative would be to include a cRIO-9221 analog input module in your system and route the controller supply voltage to one of the analog inputs to measure the voltage.
