Another alternative is NI's TestStand. It is a test executive that allows you to create custom test steps in any language. You create test sequences that call these steps. You can even automate the creation of new test sequences.

Did you look the link I posted earlier?  It does exactly as you describe.  look at Jarrods' last post with the copyplugin attachment
