Protocol for documenting

Hello,
I'm currently working on my thesis and I would like to incorporate LV programming that I've written.  I cannot include any digital media with the thesis so that is unfortunately out of the question.  Is there a standard protocol for documenting my work other than screen shots of the front panel / block diagrams?

There is no "standard" protocol, as documentation differs from organization to organization. Usually screenshots of front panels and block diagrams don't make for good documentation since someone who doesn't know LabVIEW will look at it and see gibberish. You can have descriptions for each VI - that helps a little. You usually need to have auxiliary documentation that discusses program architecture, as well as any specific algorithms you developed for your code.

Have you looked at the print options. In one of the options, it allows a complete printout of the VI and its ancillary document. I believe you can output it as Html, rtf, printer etc. If you use rtf, you can import the whole printout into your document.
