Question about NI 5651 RF generator

Hello guys,

Now I connect both the RF output and its 10MHZ REF out Clk to the oscilloscope, and I see that these two signals are not synchronize with each other, if I set one of them as trigger, the other signal keeps shifting slowly relative to it.

I think this shouldn't happen for this card. Anyone knows why?

Thanks

Hello,

Firstly, I believe that you may get more relevant eyes on this post by posting it here:

https://forums.ni.com/t5/RF-Measurement-Devices/bd-p/290

Could you also post some additional information about this behavior?  Screenshots would be helpful as well as a description (or code sample) of how you set up the triggering for the waveform?

Hello,

The code I use is the front panel provided by NI, I just enabled the RF output and Ref out on the front panel and connect both of them to my occilloscope.

I know this might be an hardware question, I will post it to RF part the next time.

Thanks
