Question about using LabVIEW to control Keithley 2450

Hello everyone,

I am trying to use labview to control Keithley 2450 by a USB cable. When I used DAQ assistant, it can't recognize Keithley 2450. But when I used I/O instrument, it can recognize Keithley 2450. 

I remember I have ever used DAQ assistant for Keithley but with a GPIB cable when I studied in another lab. 

Do you think the problem is because of using a wrong USB cable? If I use GPIB to USB cable, will DAQ assistant recognize the keithley?

I don't think that this is a thing that you can do.  The 2450 is an instrument you have to send commands to using SCPI commands, not using a DAQ assistant.  

The DAQ assistant is just for devices made by NI... not a Keithley sourcemeter.
