I ran into a Gmail security issue, but on the POP access side. It seems it allows only so many login attempts within a 'certain' amount of time. Although I did not find any documentation that described this behavior.
It occurs to me that if you wrote the VIs on both sides of the email, you could send ONE email with 36 attachments.
Just a thought that circumnavigates the issue.

I just found out that the customer's email server is not using SSL. So after swithing off SSL enable in the vi, the customer smtp can be connected.
Regarding why gmail smtp cannot be connected on the ship network but can be connected in a office network , it is still a mystery. The ship has is about to set sail cannot perform gmail smtp tests on the ship anymore.
