RDA in DAQmx

My LV projects are developed on notebook and during development I use
intensively RDA to acces PCI6023 in desktop PC. Now I want to switch
to LV7&DAQmx, but unfortunately I cannot see RDA device for DAQmx in
MAX3.0.0. Is it just temporaly problem of NI-DAQ7.0.1 or RDA will not
more be supported in DAQmx ? Will RDA be supported in future in DAQmx
or have I forget about it?
Thanks for any help.

Currently NI-DAQmx does not support RDA; however, you can still use RDA with NI-DAQ v7.0 if you continue to use the Traditional NI-DAQ driver. I really do not know nor can I comment on whether DAQmx will support RDA in the future and when, if it will be supported, to expect this feature. I would highly recommend developing your application using Traditional NI-DAQ under the assumption that it may be awhile for RDA to be supported by DAQmx.

Since DAQmx doesn't support RDA - I'd like some guidance for the following:

I have LabView Version 7.1 running virtually on XP in a Windows 7 environment running VirtualBox. I have LabView 2013 running natively in Windows 7. I have DAQmx serving COM1, COM2 and GPIB for use by the virtal LabView 7.1. That works perfectly.

However, I would also like to share my DAQ PCI card from the Windows 7 DAQmx with the virtual XP/LabView 7.1. I had hoped to do that with RDA - but that's not supported. What is my alternative to RDA that witll work with LabView 2013 and LabView 7.1?

The last time any of these users posted was four years ago.  Maybe you should start a new thread and reference this one.  🙂
