How to calculate the RMS using the basic formulas But the RMS in my VI not same value by using this formula and RMS.VI , please look at the VI in the attachment VI.

There must be a different way at math calculations.

I don't know which is more precise, but do you really need so much precision?

Hi Spring,

You're welcome to look at the implementation.  Just double click on the Basic Averaged DC-RMS.vi and open its block diagram.

Also, you can take a look at the advanced help on the VI you're using in order to use more of the inputs for increased functionality (Basic Averaged DC-RMS).
