I've slightly modified RTSI with DAQmx (encoder-external scan clock continuous).vi example, adding a read position.vi and changing the waveform chart to an XY graph (feeding the read voltage and position values in). I'm getting a -200279 error, when I've set the sample rate to 1 and override the daqmx buffer to be something huge like 100 000 in both cases it works without error once and then I continue to get the -200279 error afterward. I've seen the knowledgebase entry for this error but given my buffer size, sampling rate, reasonably modern CPU (1.8 Ghz) and the fact that this error occurs even when I only read in say 100 data points I'm not sure why it is happening.
I'll gladly post the portion of my vi where it goes wrong if anybody wants to see.
