RUN TIME

Hi everyone,

I need help with Run-Time Labview. I build an application (exe) with Labview 8.5 Professional and I'm trying to run this executable with Labview Run-Time 8.6 but I got an error.

Are the two version compatible. I can run an application build with an older version with a newer one?

Is this true for all labview version?So the RTE can run only applications build with the corresponding LABVIEW verison?

YES, its true. Take a note - RTE is free, so you can download and install LabVIEW Run-Time 8.6 for running application developed with LabVIEW 8.6.
