Read From Measurement File

Data2 works fine for me.  Make sure you have tab delimited selected and you have the correct file path setup.  -SS

I went back and looked at the data file in excel and found that there were 3000 points.  Looks like either your file is corupt or there is a bug in the express vi.  I ended up changing Retrieve segments of specified size to 3000.  Here is the revised picture, hope you didn't turn in your homework yet.  -SS

Even I am getting similar results in LabView 8.2! Each time I read a file I have to manually set the sample size to the specified value so that Read Measurement File reads the entire data. How can I correct this poblem?

Harold, the fourth file data23 reads correctly.  Please post your *vi there may be something else going on. 

AshaG, I don't know the answer using express.

Couple quick questions, sorry but I don't use express much.

I do not have a DAQ to test out the DAQ assistant.  Does the DAQ assistant open and try to read a file?  If not then where in your code are you reading a file?  Your DAQ Assistant is set to read 100 samples but your files have 3000 samples output to them, which tells me the *.vi you posted doesn't look like it generated or tried to read the files that you posted.  It there another *.vi maybe?

no there is no other .vi it just won't work for what every reason i am using the scxi-1600 with a scxi-1100 now it might work better with it but i dont know

the program itselkf has the "ask user what file to use" in it so when i push the enable button it shows a screen that allows me to select a file
