Real Time System Manager behaviour

Hi People!

I'm using LabVIEW 7.1 and compact FieldPoint.  I'd like to monitor execution of my embedded application using  Real Time System Manager.

In CPU usage, I get 100 % all the time (I'm not surprised....), but the strange thing is that I'm getting two colours, yellow (high priority), and white (normal priority).

It is strange that I get yellow colour, because all my processes are Normal priority; should I suppose that Real-Time System Manager uses the rest of CPU time with High (yellow) priority?

   Thanks!

Hi AlessioD,
Thank you for your answer, it's quite useful.  Now I know can increase Pause time as I want, because my cFP-2020 is connected with no module.  In fact this module controls some FP-1001 via 485 port, and port polling doesn't refer to Pause time (I hope....).

Anyway, even with an increased Pause time of 1000 ms, I get 100% CPU usage.  I will check for further improvements...

Thanks again, and have a nice day.
