Real Time

I'm working in a multiphase flow lab using LabView to run a Laser
Doppler Velocimeter. I have a PC-TIO-10 timer board, and was wondering if
anyone had a canned vi that would return REAL time for me and not counter
values. The other piece of equipment I have is 2 microsecond accurate,
and I am hoping to get the same performance from this setup, a PC-TIO-10
and an AT-DIO-32F both running in an older P120. If anyone knows of any
"real time" sub-vi's that might already exist, it would save me some time.
If not, thanks, anyway.
Writing LabView code to replace proprietary computer equipment for
older hardware just doesn't quite seem like the summer fun I was after. 🙂

Hey Josh,
I work with National Instruments in helping people with their
instrumentation needs. I suggest you search our technical support
webpage for real time examples.

Go to this link, www.natinst.com/support/, and do a search using - real
time - in the field provided. Make sure you do the search under the
Examples Database.

If you need anything else or have further questions, please let us know
via phone or e
mail.

Thanks,
