Recorded video plays back too fast when AVI grab is integrated into my program

Hello,

I am using the AVI video grab and save example to record video using a USB camera. I am also using the ffdshow filter pulling xVid codec. When I run this program independently, it works well. However, when I copy and paste the block diagram into my existing program (which pulls data from several sensors) the captured video plays back in roughly 5x speed, similar to a "fast forward" setting. How would my existing program interfere? I've attached a screenshot of the AVI capture VI. Thanks for your help!

Hi David, 

I think we may be able to say more if you can tell us more about the rest of your code. What sort of structures are you using, and where are you dropping your AVI Capture code in? Is the video sped up on your front panel or when you play the resulting file?

You should post the larger piece of code if possible.
