Regarding suitable module for getting data from load cell

Hi,

I have a load cell and a cRIO 9035. I also have 3 analog input modules NI 9205, NI 9425 & NI 9263.

My question is which is the appropriate module that I need to use for getting data from loadcell. Can I use NI 9205 module?

Thank you

Vasu

You can use the NI9205 to measure voltage signals. What kind of signal do you get from your loadcell?

What other requirements do the loadcell need?

I am using a loadcell which gives 2mV/V output and

it is further connected to a transmitter which give gives analogue signal 0-10V.

I would like to get weight in every 10 milliseconds or 1 millisecond if there is change in weight

So there already is an amplifier in place between the loadcell and your DAQ device?

Does the amplifier also provide power supply to the loadcell?

The NI9205 supports much higher samplerates than 100Hz/1kHz…

Then use the NI9205 to measure the amplified voltage signal…

(You should have learned by now to provide the full picture right from beginning! Schematics might help…)
