I want to be able to interface with my WaveRunner, remotely through LabVIEW.
I have installed the following software and drivers on the scope:

NI LabVIEW Run-Time Engine 7.0
NI LabVIEW Run-Time Engine 7.1
NI MAX 3.1
NI Session Manager 3.0
NI-488.2.1.74
NI-DAQ 7.21 Traditional
NI-DAQmx 7.2
NI-VISA 3.1
NI-VISA Server 3.1
NI-VXI Support for LabVIEW 1.2.1f0
When I install the IVI drivers for the scope, a "Driver Session" should appear in MAX but it doesn't.
I have created a remote system entry in MAX on my PC (installed with the same set of software/drivers + LabVIEW 7.1, LeCroy XsDSO IVI Driver and VCIP Passport) for the scope and can communicate with it but get the following errors:
"VISA returned this device when finding resources, and MAX could use VISA to parse the resource name. MAX could not succesfully open a VISA session to the device."
Furthermore, if I open up the VISA Interactive control on the scope, no VISA resources are detected.
