I fail to see how discussing the recovery of an Admin Password from a NetGear Router is relevant to NI MAX not being able to recognize a PXI 7340.
The following information I pulled from the PXI 7340 manual, however, may be more relevant:
Note If you do not install the NI-Motion driver software before attempting to use the NI 7340 motion controller, the system does not recognize the NI 7340 motion controller and you are unable to configure or use the device.
As I mentioned in my earlier Post, the last NI Motion controller was released with LabVIEW 2018. You will need to install LabVIEW 2018 in order to continue using this Controller with LabVIEW. You may, however, be able to use it with other programming languages ...
