Remove a registered install of LV 8.2

Hello

A PC that I had LV 8.2 installed on was very recently “retired” due to lease end. I did not uninstall 8.2 before they picked up that PC. The drive has since been scrubbed clean and that install of 8.2 no longer exists. How can I remove the now non-existent install from my list of registered installs?

Thanks for any assistance.

Paul

Hi Paul,

Do you use National Instruments Volume License Manager (VLM)?

If not and this is a simple activation question, you will be okay to simply reactivate your copy of LabVIEW on your new computer using the same serial number.  With a named user license you can activate the same license on up to three computers at a time.  If you uninstall from one of these computers you are free to install on a different computer -- we do keep track of how many times a serial number is activated, but understand that sometimes users will move an installation to another computer, or may have to reactivate due to hard drive crashes, etc. Hope this helps!
