Hi, I incorrectly installed a driver. When I added the VI's to the User Libraries, they were corrupted.
I then uninstalled and reinstalled the driver, but I can't seem to delete the broken icons.
Even if i go to the palette editor, if I right click, there is no 'delete icon' option.
How can I delete them?

Hi Cory K,
Thanks for the post and I hope your well today!
How do you do the re-install?
I would recommend using MsiBlast (or equivalent) to fully remove the driver.
Can I also ask what driver this is? and how you installed it incorrectly?
Kind Regards,

The driver was for a Crossbow Sensor.
I'm still not really sure I installed it correctly, but at least it appears to be working.
I installed the driver through LabVIEW's driver installation wizard.
This copied the driver to C: .... program files ....... instr.lib
I then manually copied the driver to user.lib
Then I when I opened LabVIEW, it was in the User Library.
What I had done before was go through the palette editor and tried to add the subpalettes, and thats where I messed up.
Now I have the working folder, and also a bunch of non working icons. How can I get rid of them?

Hi Cory,
Thanks for the reply.
Does this advice work?
How Do I Create or Edit a Custom Sub-Palette on the Controls or Functions Palette in LabVIEW 8.0?
If no luck, I'll look into this some more on Monday, when Im back in the office.
Kind Regards,
