how to uninstall previous version in shorter time

Before upgrading to LabView 8.6 I want to uninstall Version 8.5. I still have installed and want to keep Version 7.1. I do not want to keep all previous versions in order to save diskspace. I have a very complete installation of a developer suite. It takes a whole night to uninstall via systemmanager/programs/NationalInstruments. Is there any more suitable method available to acomplish this tasks?

Sorry, but there is no faster way to cleanly uninstall software than using the add/remove software feature of Windows. Still, it sounds a bit odd to me, that the uninstall process takes so long on your computer. This could indicate an issue with your harddrive. I strongly recommend to run a disk diagnostic tool on your PC.
