Report Generation Package not working

Hi all,

I installed the report generation package in labview 8.2. I need to read data from excel sheet. I am using the "Excel Get Data" vi. But there are always an error showing:

The polymorphic subVI is broken. You must fix all errors in the polymorphic subVI before this VI can run.

The example downloaded from ni.com has the same error. But this vi works very well in my friend's labview 7.0. Can anybody help me with this?

I had a similar problem with a recent release of 8.2.  Turned out to be a bad distribution cd.  In my case I had a earlier release of the toolkit cd with the same version of the report toolkit.  I uninstalled the bad version and reinstalled from a good cd.

So basically what you did is you uninstall labview 8.2 and install the ealier version of labview and the toolkit?

NO what he did was install from another CD that had the same version of the toolkit.
