Reset I2C connection within LabVIEW

No, the VI continues without error.

Only the measurement values return to zero.

Hi Ruud,

I took a look at your project. Looking at the I2C_Host.vi I saw some disconnected wires regarding the I2C Communication, this could be the cause of your problems.

Frank

Hi Frank,

The file "I2C_Host.vi" is not used in the current project. I should have deleted that before uploading.
Unfortunately, I still did not solve the problem.

In short: In case the pressure sensors hang-up, I can only restart the test set-up by deconnect/ re-connect the power supply.
Restarting the Project, VI or eRIO 9148 does not have any effect. Somehow I would like to "simulate" this re-connecting the power supply within LabVIEW.
Thanks a lot for your help,

Ruud

Hi Ruud,

unfortunately there is no way to simulate a power down. What you could do, is  connect a via network switchable power supply to your test-setup and program some logic to switch that.

Frank

Hi everyone,

this is my first post... I write because I have to use NI 9402 as i2c master to communicate with NXP PCA 9698 but I am not sure if this is possible with NI9402.

If no, is there any NI ethernet device that I can use?

Thank you in advance,
