If the VI is set to run when openend, there should be no easy way to stop execution, so there is no need to restart it, ever.
In a proper state machine, you'd just go to an idle state, for example.

I thought I was in this thread, which asked the same question, and in which I pointed out that XControl. These same questions asked over and over again make me deja vu nautious. ![]()
