Hello all!
Sometimes we must upgrade some of our customer machines. Those machines where developed in Labview, but they only have the executable and the run-time.
Several times I have the a problem, we upgrade the Labview version on our PC's and we can not send them only the executable. We must make a new installer with the new version and install all that.
There is the possibility to create an EXE to a previous Labview run-time version?
Thanks in advance, best regards,
Paulo Carmo

Hi,
this would be difficult, because when new version of Labview occurs, there are new functions ! It's hard to downgrade a project, so it's impossible to create a build for previous version.
The easiest way is to use virtual machines : when you release a new version of your soft, you can save all parameters and developement softs, and when a customer wants a revision, you continue whithout upgrading to the latest Labview version...
Regards,
