SCPI commands work with Keysight IO but not NI Max

Hi, 

A piece of Keysight E5071C codes was resued for E5080A with code Emulator. 

There were 3 traces on the screen at the beginning. Command

:CALCulate:PARameter:COUNt 5

is working with Keysight I/O but not with NI Max. ENA5080 has error message SCPI 106 with NI Max same as Labview. 

Keysight E5080A FW A12.60.03. 

Any suggestion?

Hello GTR,

When you write *IND?\n in a NI-VISA Test Panel, what reads out? Can you show us a screenshot of your error message? A little more information will be helpful in narrowing down the issue.

You didn't say what interface you were using, but I have found that Agilent/Keysight needs to have the "Tulip Passport" enabled in NI-MAX.

This is the only "Passport" that is disabled by default

Open NI MAX

Navigate to Tools---->NI VISA---->VISA Options

Select Passports from the tree

Check the box to enable NiVisaTulip.dll -- NI-VISA Passport for Tulip
