SOUND RECORDING !! URGENT

Hi,

I am new to lab-view. I need a help about the method to record sound using sound card or microphone in labview. I have found an option in function palette>>Programming>>Sound and Graphics. However i am unable to operate it or make a running VI.

Please help me out....how can i learn about sound recording using this method in details??

Is there any book for sound processing in Labview??

There are several sound based VIs in the NI Examples.  One I see is called 'Sound Input to File.vi'  Take a look at that one.
