SSE2 optimization error in Web Services deployment

"Web Services in 2010 SP1 were so buggy" - Did you have any specific problems? Or errors related to your experience with 2010 SP1?

What eventually scuttled it was the NI Application Web Server crashing constantly [related to the last problem]. By the end I couldn't run the service at all. If I remember correctly, I have had, at one time or another, 5 different NI-verified bugs/unintended-features interfering with my web services operations.

And now, I tried a repair [just for kicks], and the Application Web Service won't start with the error:

"Could not start the NI Application Web Server service on Lacal Computer. Error 1075: The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion."

You are going to have to run a repair again.  I can speak for everyone at NI that we are very embarrassed about this bug.

Perfect timing to ask this question.  The patch that addresses this issue was released today.  I was about to announce this when I saw your post
