SVT 3.1 & LabView 8 Error 1445

I recently upgraded from LabView 7.1 to 8. I did not upgrade the Sound and Vibration Toolkit so I'm still using version 3.1

I'm getting an error 1445 on many of the SVT examples vi's. Tracked it down to the svx_Set Panel Size vi.

Anyone have an explanation of why this causes an error and can offer a solution?

Edit 1: This vi alone will not error although this vi used in some SVT 3.1 example programs will result in error 1445.
