Saving an Image from VBAI using shared variables and LabView

Hi,

    I have a smart camera NI1752 connected to my PC via a PLC.  I am able to get the image and do an inspection.  I would like to save the image onto the system.  There is some issue with the Image logging via FTP function in VBAI.  Hence I am trying to use shared variables and create a Labview vi to do this function.  I searched online for methods of using shared variables.  When I execute a VI in labview (with shared variable set in VBAI), I am able to save the image using the shared variable but I want to trigger this automatically when an inspection is run in VBAI.  (I dont want to have labview open always).  Hence I added this vi to VBAI using LabView vi option.  But now there is no image being saved.  I made the Vi under the smart camera which I added to the project.  (The camera is in Labview Real time mode).  I am not able to add vi in VBAI mode.

Can someone tell me if there is any mistake in my procedure?  Or I would really appreciate it if someone can tell me the correct method.  I have attached the vi.
