Scripting: Right-Click Shortcut goes "deaf"?

Solved!
Go to solution

So I've been trying to create two Right-Click Shortcuts and while it's been frustrating it's been a great learning experience.

This last thing has pretty confused and steamed though...

My short cut worked. It did. Once or twice even. On more than one different type of wire too. It was nice.

And now it doesn't even get called when I right-click at all. I mean, I put a dialog box in the VI that would add the element to the menu and... nothing.

Yes, I have refreshed the menu. Yes, I have quit and restarted LabVIEW. Yes, I have rebooted my machine.

No, I have not changed the name on any VI. No, I have not changed the type of the refnum. No, the run arrow is not broken.

I am using the Terminal Type, but for some reason when I right-click on the input node to a subVI, it doesn't see that as a Terminal when it used to (and it still does for NI.WireDrill). I created a NEW right-click ShortCut and it sees THAT one as a Terminal.

Anyone seen this before or have any ideas?

OK, figured it out...

Apparently I accidentally hid the Label of the "Is Multi-select?" control.

And that broke it.

Wow.
