Seeking MS Visual SourceSafe Resources

I am looking for any application notes, links or other resources pertaining to software control of LabView using Microsoft Visual SourceSafe 6.0. In particular, I am wondering which is better, to store VIs in SourceSafe in the form of LLB or separate VIs.

It is really difficult to organize your VIs in VSS if they are packed into
..llbs. It's far better to use VSS on the VIs and organize them with an
thoughtful directory structure.
